Gilchrist to retire from cricket at end of fourth Test,as he said in the press conference.Gilchrist said he was quitting Test cricket after the current match ends on Monday and one-day international cricket at the end of the forthcoming triangular one-day series against India and Sri Lanka which begins at feb 03."It is with great pride and happiness that I make the decision to retire from Test and one-day cricket," Gilchrist said in a statement.

Gilchrist also proposes Waugh-Tendulkar Trophy between the two nation.He said It would be a great way to pay tribute to these two cricketers.

"I discussed it with Waugh who was thrilled with the idea but I am yet to discuss with Sachin."

Gilchrist also said that the match be alternately hosted by India and Australia.

The newspaper said a complaint had been filed in the Hyderabad High Court demanding action under India's Prevention of Insult to the National Honour Act, which can carry a three-year jail term.
